A fifth ShopRite employee in New Jersey has tested positive for coronavirus, according to information from owner Wakefern Food Corp.

A fifth ShopRite employee in New Jersey has tested positive for coronavirus, according to information from owner Wakefern Food Corp.

The report says the worker was last at the East Windsor location at 319 US-130 back on March 12.
The company says all other store employees were notified.

The location is undergoing a deep cleaning and will remain open.
The supermarket chain also announced it is increasing precautions at at least 27 locations, saying it would begin limiting the amount of customers allowed in stores at one time to about 30% of their maximum capacity.
Employees at the Old Bridge, Morristown, Garwood, and Newark locations also tested positive for the virus.
