We are just about two weeks away from Regal Cinemas Grand opening not even a year after Multiplex Cinemas closed their doors.

The Multiplex Cinema closed its doors on May 28 after three decades. It was one of the last two movie theaters in the borough.

The parent company of Multiplex Cinemas, National Amusements, said the decision to close their doors was made after a lease agreement could not be reached. Not even a year later, Feil Organization signed a new lease with Regal Cinemas to bring blockbuster movies right back to the boogie down!

Regal is inviting movie buffs for charity events on March 19 and 20 and their official grand opening will be March 21. You can watch the latest movies for only $3 plus popcorn for $3 and $3 soft drinks! All the proceeds will go to charity.
