Monmouth County's Red Bank is reopening to visitors to help out its restaurants.
Most of Broad Street in the downtown area is shut to car traffic from Front Street to Monmouth Street as tables fill the road instead.
Restaurant and retail owners say the street closure from Thursday through Sunday is providing them with a much-needed economic boost.
The owner of Catch 19 says his business is restricted to sidewalk seating on other days, but the street being closed to cars from Thursday through Sunday is a lifesaver.
