Business owners along the Jersey Shore say the constant drumbeat of rain has been bad for business.
Michael Buess, who owns Bodega Shoppe on the boardwalk, says fewer customers come out when the weather gets dreary. Kathleen Banks, who owns a home furnishings store next to Buess' business, agrees.
"It [has] put a damper on everything," she says.
But tourists out on Point Pleasant Beach Monday say they've kept themselves busy, making the best of things despite the bad weather.
"Doesn't matter," says one tourist. "[I'm] down here with my family, everything's cool."
