Hazlet is asking community members to come together and help create a vision for the city's future.
The Hazlet 2030 program aims to get residents' input on how to develop four areas in the city - Veteran's Park, Waackaack Creek, Natco Lake and a good stretch Route 36. Residents are making themselves heard through brainstorming meetings, online surveys and workshops.
The program is being funded through a $50,000 grant from the New Jersey Office of Smart Growth.
