A group of New Jersey residents protested outside Democratic Rep. Josh Gottheimer’s office Friday morning to demand that he supports efforts to open an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

Members of the public and even some Democratic lawmakers have been calling for Trump to be impeached for due to his various policies and actions while serving as president.

"We are supportive of all of Congress going ahead and supporting the impeachment inquiry. But our responsibility, our goal is to get our representative to represent us and represent with us our personal values as well as our Jersey values,” says Mahwah resident Susan Steinberg.

The protest was a part of a national call to action for progressive grassroots activism.
