Protesters arrested outside Rep. Gottheimer’s home for trespassing

Several people who rallied outside of Rep. Josh Gottheimer’s home in Wyckoff were arrested for allegedly trespassing.
A large crowd gathered outside of the Democrat’s home on Monday, causing traffic tie-ups and a large police response.
"Today, local law enforcement arrested several individuals for trespassing and refusing to leave Josh's home. Occupying a Congressman's property crosses a line of basic decency and, in this case, left his family concerned for their safety,” a spokesperson for the congressman said in a statement.
Gottheimer was not home at the time.
The event organizers describe themselves as a youth moment. This group has clashed with Gottheimer before and has accused him of compromising progressive goals and bowing to corporations.
