The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office says police have arrested a woman in the 2019 killing of her child in Teaneck.

Police say the arrest of Raeshon Corbo comes after a ruling made by a Bergen County grand jury. Officials say the child died from injuries sustained in an assault.

Corbo has been charged with aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The victim's father, Jonathan Melendez, has already been charged with aggravated assault in the case.

Corbo is awaiting her first court hearing.
