Authorities say a man stabbed his wife to death before he was found dead himself in a home in which a young child was found unharmed.

According to prosecutors in Bergen County, a neighbor called North Arlington police Wednesday shortly after 5:30 p.m. to report that she had looked through the mail slot in the front door and had seen two people lying on the living room floor.

Authorities say Balaji Rudrawar, 33, and his wife, Aarti Rudrawar, 31, died of multiple stab wounds.

The manner of his death is pending autopsy and investigation, but authorities said no one else is believed to have been involved.
