Prosecutors: Howell woman indicted in Monmouth County crash that killed 3-year-old

A Howell woman involved in a three-vehicle crash that killed a 3-year-old girl in Monmouth County has been indicted.
Police say Samantha Bonora, 31, was driving a Dodge Ram pickup south in the northbound lane on Highway 34 near Colts Neck on Jan 13. She collided head-on with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Another vehicle also crashed as a result of the collision, according to authorities.
Multiple people sustained injuries, including the driver of the Cherokee and a 2-year-old male passenger. The 3-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say Bonora was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident. She is charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter and assault.
Bonora is currently in jail awaiting trial, according to police.
