Prosecutors say they nabbed about 100 people while busting two drug rings that operated throughout northern New Jersey.
Authorities say the drugs involved included oxycontin, heroin and marijuana. According to prosecutors, those arrested include buyers and distributors and the arrest list is still growing.
Ovie Norman Lattimore, allegedly at the top of the drug ring ladder, was arrested in Florida. George Washingon is also allegedly at the top of the ladder and was arrested in a Morris Township apartment building.
Investigators say the drug deals often occurred in different locations, such as a public park or a parked car. Prosecutors say those purchasing the drugs had to make appointments.
The arraignments in the case are expected to begin Tuesday.
