The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a sexual assault in Jersey City.
Officials say the incident started as a home invasion. They say a man broke into a home on McAdoo Avenue just before 7 p.m. on Sunday. They say he came in through a window.
Officials say the man sexually and physically assaulted a woman inside of the home. The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for multiple injuries.
A description of the suspect was not provided. No arrests have been made.
