A woman from Runnemede is facing charges in a murder-for-hire plot, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jaclyn DiIorio is accused of targeting a Philadelphia police officer and his daughter. She faces several charges, including two counts of first-degree attempted murder.

The Major Crimes Unit says a defendant told a confidential informant that DiIorio offered $12,000 to have both victims killed.

Officials say DiIorio met with the informant on April 4 with $500 in cash. After the money was exchanged, she was taken into custody by the Gloucester Township Police Department Special Response Team.

DiIorio faces a detention hearing on Wednesday.
