Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a hit-and-run crash that left a 49-year-old woman critically injured in Secaucus.

The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday near Paul Amico Way and County Road.

Officials say the driver did not remain on the scene after crashing into the victim. They say that the vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash was found.

A description of the vehicle was not provided.
