A 16-year-old boy has been accused of making antisemitic threats against a New Brunswick school administrator.
Officials say they were made aware of the threats on Sept. 7. They say the teen made violent and antisemitic threats on the Instagram page for the New Brunswick Public School System.
The teen was charged with juvenile delinquency due to his age. Officials say that if he wasn’t a minor, he would be facing false public alarm, terroristic threats and bias intimidation charges.
A judge ruled that the teen will remain in custody at the Juvenile Detention Center for the time being.
