A 17-year-old was killed and his father wounded in a shooting outside a Burlington Township Walmart on Thursday night.
The county prosecutor says that the shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. When police arrived, they found 44-year-old Dione Williams Sr. and his son Albert suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where Albert was pronounced dead. The father was treated and released.
The store was open at the time of the shooting. Investigators say that it appears that this was not a random shooting. They were reviewing surveillance footage as they searched for a suspect.
No arrests have been made.
