Prosecutor’s Office has announced one person is dead, and another injured,
following a shooting in Paterson.
Police were dispatched to the area of
Clinton Avenue and North 6th Street Saturday around 8 p.m. on a report of a
shooting.
According to authorities,
officers discovered two individuals, a 36-year-old male and a 54-year-old male
with gunshot wounds.
Authorities say both victims
were transported to St. Joseph's University Medical Center, where the
36-year-old-male was pronounced dead. The 54-year-old male is in stable
condition.
No names have been released
and no arrests made.
