yesterdayAuthorities have arrested a man they say sexually and physically assaulted a woman he knew in Franklin Township.
The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office says the assault happened on Sept. 11. Officials say that Mateo Espinal-Brito, 42, assaulted the woman in the early morning hours. They were first alerted to the crime around 5 a.m.
Espinal-Brito was arrested later that day. He faces multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault-strangulation.
