Prosecutor: Juvenile accused of sexually assaulting woman in Sayreville

A juvenile has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the Parlin section of Sayreville, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities say that the juvenile, whose age was not specified, would have faced sexual assault, burglary and theft charges if he was an adult.
The prosecutor says the assault happened Monday just after midnight. The victim reported that someone had broken into her Swider Drive apartment, woke her up, sexually assaulted her and stole from her.
The boy was charged with “an act of juvenile delinquency.”
