Hudson County Prosecutor Edward De Fazio says an alleged Jersey City prostitution ring that also supplied cocaine to some customers has been shut down.
De Fazio says 43-year-old Joseph Ruiz, who operated World Class Party Girls, was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution and leading a narcotics trafficking network. De Fazio estimates the alleged prostitution and drug operation brought in $250,000 a month from hundreds of men in New Jersey and New York.
Personal information from clients was seized Tuesday when investigators raided the escort service call center. Prosecutors say customers who may have purchased drugs could face charges.
