A car was hit by a train on the railway crossing near the Ramsey train station on Friday morning.

The lone occupant of the car, a woman, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to NJ Transit.

There were no customers on the train and there were no injuries to the crew.

Service on the Main/Bergen County Line continues, according to NJ Transit.
