Prosecutor: Body parts found in Elizabeth waterway identified

Those parts have been identified as belonging to 34-year-old Woldy Ventura-Cruz.

Body parts that washed up in a Union County waterway have been identified, according to the county prosecutor.
A human torso and at least one other body part washed up in the area of the Arthur Kill and Elizabeth River begging on May 16. Those parts have been identified as belonging to 34-year-old Woldy Ventura-Cruz.
Officials say that the Elizabeth man died as the result of a homicide, although a cause of death has not yet been released.
The prosecutor says that this is an ongoing investigation and is asking the public for help gathering information about Ventura-Cruz’s death.
