The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says that an arrest has been made in a deadly shooting at a hotel in Fairfield earlier this month.
Authorities say Tyrone Malcom, of Middletown, New York, shot two workers at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel on Oct. 4.
One of those men, identified as Mohammed Sahariar, died at the scene. The other victim remains in critical condition.
