Prosecutor: 1 person killed, another injured during fire in Manchester
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the fire broke out on Heron Street in Manchester Township just before 7 p.m. Sunday.

5h agoOne person was killed and another was critically injured when a fire broke out inside a home in Manchester Township.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the fire broke out on Heron Street just before 7 p.m. Sunday.
First responders were able to rescue one woman who was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The body of another woman was found in the home.
Officials say three police officers were treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
