Prosecutor: 1 killed, 1 wounded in shooting at Ewing deli

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force, as well as the Ewing Police Department, are probing a fatal shooting this morning.

Authorities in Mercer County say that one person was killed and another wounded in a shooting at a deli in Ewing.
Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri says the shooting happened around 6 a.m. Monday at Priori’s Deli on Hillcrest Avenue. He says that police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital, but one of the men died.
Onofri identified the man who died as 54-year-old Oscar Palacios. The second victim is Palacios’s brother. His name was not released, but he was identified as a 57-year-old Hamilton resident.
Details about what led to the shooting were not immediately released. No arrests have been made.
