Denville residents roamed the 5K Zombie Run Sunday to help raise money for a new playground at the Gardner field.
Volunteers chased participants and tagged them with toxic sludge stickers to turn them into zombies.
After the run, a food truck festival offered tasty treats for the town.
The organizers of the event, Project Playground 2.0, is looking to raise $250,000 for the new playground.
