A local strip club owner's wife has filed a lawsuit against Old Bridge and Sayreville police along with the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

Brooke Acciardi says police violated her civil rights when officers were investigating an alleged prostitution ring being run out of Club 35. She was never charged.

Acciardi was five months pregnant when officers raided her home last year and tossed a flash grenade inside, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also says cops left her cuffed and wearing nothing but bed clothes for six hours.

Her husband, Anthony Acciardi Jr., his parents and brother are facing charges related to prostitution and tax evasion.
