New Jersey Rep. Lamonica McIver has won a victory – the House of Representatives rejected a motion to censure her.

It stemmed from McIver's role in a confrontation with law enforcement in May outside an immigrant detention center in Newark. McIver was part of a delegation of New Jersey lawmakers trying to inspect the facility.

The lawmakers say they were attacked by ICE agents. Agents say they were the ones who were assaulted. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was briefly arrested but charges against him were dropped. McIver still faces charges of interfering with law enforcement.

She joined the show to discuss the situation and much more.
