The field of Democratic presidential hopefuls got even more crowded this week as New Jersey's junior Democratic Sen. Cory Booker announced a 2020 bid.
Rep. Frank Pallone (D-Long Branch) joins host Eric Landskroner to talk the senator's chances. Also up for discussion is whether the U.S. can avoid another shutdown, and if the federal government will ever pony up funds for the Gateway Tunnel project.
Dustin Raccioppi, statehouse reporter for the Record, also stops by to talk about Booker's run, Chris Christie's new book "Let Me Finish," and the move to raise New Jersey's minimum wage.
