After weeks of what seemed like constant clouds and rain, New Jersey residents took the opportunity to enjoy a picture-perfect summer day Friday.

Some residents call this season a fake summer with no real heat wave and too much rain. Unlike last Friday when it poured, residents this Friday enjoyed the park, played softball and laid out to take in the sun on a breezy afternoon.

"It's absolutely lovely to have a break from the rain and to have it not being too hot. It's just beautiful," says Sharon Joseph-Foster of Jersey City.
