A wave of massive warehouse construction fueled by the internet shopping boom has been met by opposition across New Jersey from communities who say distribution centers worsen flooding, water pollution, air pollution and quality of life.

A developer's plans to build a warehouse on an old farm on the Upper Freehold/Allentown border is sparking opposition for another reason: the site’s connection to the Revolutionary War.
