Port Street ramp in Newark to be closed for roadwork

A traffic alert has been issued for drivers heading through Newark on weekends over the next two months.
The local ramp to Port Street off of Route 1&9 North will be closed for road work.
The closure starts at 8 p.m. Fridays and goes until 3 a.m. Mondays.
There will be a detour with signs posted.
The I-78 westbound detour at Port Newark will continue on weekends until later this year.
