Port Authority police promotes K-9s named in honor of fallen 9/11 officers

The Port Authority Police Department held a ceremony Friday to promote officers and their canines who will be joining the department's K-9 unit.
The dogs are named Romo, Mazza, Gonja, Mack and Tazzo in honor of Port Authority officers who died on 9/11.
They are trained in explosives and narcotics detection, making them an essential part of the team.
The officers and K-9 graduates will use their training to patrol several Port Authority facilities.
