State lawmakers legalized certain type of fireworks in 2017. Since then popup fireworks shops have opened across the state in time for the Independence Day celebrations.
“The kids' stuff is always the most popular…we’ve got the snap poppers - you throw them on the ground, they pop. They make that little popping noise. We’ve got everything under the sun - smoke bombs, jumping jacks. We even have our bigger fountains, stuff like that. It's fun for any kind of age,” says Christopher DiGigorgio of TNT partner in Hazlet.
The shop is open through July 5.
