(AP) - Authorities say police fatally shot aJersey City woman after she attacked them with a kitchen knife. Jersey City spokesman Stan Eason says two officers wereresponding to reports of a domestic dispute Tuesday night when thewoman attacked them with a kitchen knife. Eason says the officerstold her several times to drop the knife and that she refused andcame at them. He says one officer shot her and she later died fromher injuries. The woman was not identified. Eason says the officers were treated for non-life-threateninginjuries at Jersey City Medical Center. The shooting came on the same day that Marc DiNardo, a 10-yearJersey City police veteran, died after he was taken off lifesupport. DiNardo was critically injured during a shootout lastweek.
