New Jersey state police say that a woman assaulted a cashier at the Joyce Kilmer Service Area on the New Jersey Turnpike earlier this week.
The incident happened on Feb. 16 around 4:15 p.m. Police have identified the suspect, but did not release her name.
They say that the suspect threw something at the cashier and then struck her with a closed fist.
The woman was able to get away before state police arrived.
