Police in Ho-Ho-Kus are warning residents about a rise in package theft.
The National Retail Federation says that 71.1 million people nationwide were looking for deals on Cyber Monday – which means there will be an influx of packages being delivered to homes.
Police say thieves target high-priced electronics items, especially new smartphones.
Residents should always be aware of their package arrival times and try to arrange to be home when packages are delivered.
Residents should also be aware of any suspicious vehicles following delivery trucks.
