Police towed and impounded two illegally parked ambulances in Passaic.

They were sitting at Reid and Van Houten avenues early Thursday morning.

The police chief says abandonment warnings were issued to the owner Hotzolah EMS Incorporated of Passaic.

Several complaints have been filed about the ambulances being left there long term.

Police say at one point, the owner even stood in between the vehicles to stop them from getting towed.
