A man is in the hospital after police say they shot him when he came after them in Warren Township Wednesday.
Police say they found the 20-year-old man in a "freaked out" state while responding to a domestic dispute call around 12:45 p.m. on Roberts Road. They say the suspect used a baseball bat to break out windows on two police vehicles before coming toward them.
The officers responded with gunfire. The suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. Five officers also received medical treatment.
Police continue to investigate what provoked the incident and have not released the suspect's name.
