Police say a possible road rage incident may have led to the shooting death of a Jersey City man.
The incident occurred late Saturday night near the intersection on Bergen and Orient avenues in Jersey City.
Michael Settles was shot three times at close range 15 minutes after being involved in a minor accident with another driver, according to his brother Jermaine, who also said his aunt witnessed the murder.
He says the driver left the scene, but returned with a gun. Jermaine Settles says the shooter approached his brother and shot him multiple times in the head. The shooting occurred just outside their grandmother's home.
Michael was a working father who leaves behind a 4-year-old son.
There was no information released regarding any arrests.
The family says the shooter was a black male standing about 6 feet 4 inches with long dreadlocks.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office says the investigation into the shooting is very active. No arrests have been made yet.
