Two men from Newark are facing charges for allegedly stealing packages from a house in Wayne Township.

Police say that a few weeks ago a resident told them that a delivery was stolen from his porch. He was expecting another package on Friday, so he gave the police a heads-up.

Police say Steven Ariel Fong and Waldy Perez-Rivas were spotted near the home at the time of the delivery. Authorities say within minutes, the pair grabbed the packages from the front door and took off.

Both were charged with theft.
