A crash involving a school bus left five people, including three students, with minor injuries.

State police say the crash happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean Township. Officials say the school bus and a Lexus collided. The Lexus was run off the road and up an embankment and the school bus overturned in the left lane of the highway.

Police say the bus driver, school aide and three students received minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

No other injuries were reported.

It was not immediately clear why the vehicles collided.
