Police: Ocean County mosque burglarized; cash, laptops stolen
An Ocean County mosque was burglarized over the weekend and police are looking for suspects.
The burglary happened at the Masjid Bilal Mosque on Route 9 in Toms River Sunday morning.
The mosque’s manager says that he called police when he realized that his office had been ransacked. Police say that a safe containing money has been cut open and the cash stolen. Two laptop computers were also missing.
Security footage shows three burglars with hoods breaking a window and entering the building.
