On Monday around 3:35 p.m., a 911 caller reported that he was being threatened by the driver of a white Mercedes-Benz while traveling down Route 1 south in South Brunswick.

14h agoA North Brunswick man driving for Grubhub was arrested after a reported road rage incident, where he brandished a knife, police say.
On Monday around 3:35 p.m., a 911 caller reported that he was being threatened by the driver of a white Mercedes-Benz while traveling down Route 1 south in South Brunswick.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was identified as 27-year-old Luis Valentin.
The victim told authorities that the Valentin threw coins at his car, spit at his car, and pulled out a knife threatening to kill him when they stopped at a traffic light.
Valentin was stopped along New Road by authorities, stating that a road rage dispute had occurred after another car cut him off in traffic.
The knife was recovered in the Mercedes-Benz and Valentin was arrested.
He is now charged with terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was released on a summons pending his first court appearance
