Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

A Bergen County woman is accused of assaulting a child at a day care center in Palisades Park.

Officials say that New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit on March 22 regarding an alleged assault.

They say the investigation revealed that the incident occurred on March 12.

Officials say Seunghee Nam, a teacher at the center, assaulted a child, causing significant bodily injury.

Nam was arrested on March 23 in Englewood and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault.

She was taken to the Bergen County Jail and was released following a court appearance.
