A monthslong investigation into a homicide in the City of Newburgh has led to an arrest.
The police commissioner says Lamont Williams was arrested for killing Daquan Corbett near Washington and Clark streets in September.
Police detectives tracked Williams to North Carolina and took him into custody.
A 5-year-old boy also sustained injuries not considered life-threatening from the gunfire.
