Police: Man's body recovered from Hackensack River in Secaucus

It was around 12:45 p.m. when a fisherman noticed what he believed to be a body.

Police said dive teams pulled a man's body from the Hackensack River in Secaucus early Saturday night. It was around 12:45 p.m. noon when a fisherman noticed what he believed to be a body.
Authorities said the body was decomposed but they hope to find a wallet or form of identification.
An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
The Hudson County Prosecutors Office Homicide Unit and the medical examiner were also on the scene.
