Police say a man hit multiple parked cars in Newark on Sunday.

Four cars were hit just before 7:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Mount Prospect Avenue, according to authorities.

Police say the cars were all empty at the time and an investigation is ongoing.

The incident has concerned residents in the area.

“Makes me nervous for this holiday weekend. You've got to be careful. People aren’t conscious of what they're doing,” said Victor Francisco.
