New Jersey state police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who is accused of attempting to buy a child in Morris County.
Authorities say it happened Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. on the Hurd Street side of Hedden County Park.
They say the man repeatedly asked a woman in the area if he could buy her 2-year-old son.
After finally giving up, police say he met with two other men and then left the park through the Park Heights Avenue gate.
Anyone with information is asked to call Morris County Park Police.
