Officials offer $10K reward for information into Chick-fil-A mass shooting

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office says they’ve arrested a man for stabbing his ex-girlfriend in Eldred.

They received a call that Luke Matthews, 36, broke into a home on Pine Ayre Drive and when they arrived, they found a female who had been stabbed in the neck. Authorities say Matthews ran from the scene armed with a scalpel.

Police were able to locate Matthews about an hour later on Barker Road.

Matthews now faces multiple charges including felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
